O Lord, our Heavenly Father, Creator of Heaven and Earth,

Thank You for this gorgeous day.

Thank You for the crisp dawn, the bright sunshine, the dazzling sunset, the drawing dusk, the glowing moon, and the twinkling stars.

Thank You for the cool woods, for the vast spreading plains, and for the hills and mountains.

Thank You for the refreshing spring breeze, the steamy summer nights, and the brisk fall days where a hoodie and a jacket are just the ticket.

Thank You for this machine.

Thank You for the ingenuity and inventiveness You gave to those that designed and built it.

Thank You for the skills You gave to those that maintain it.

Thank You for the laws of chemistry that propel it, the laws of physics that guide it, and, in particular, for the way You made it bank in the corners. I really love that part.

Thank You for this body, that is healthy enough to climb on and go whenever and wherever I choose.

Thank You for the gift of sight, that so joyously beholds Your Creation.

Thank You for the gift of hearing, which always appreciates a good run to the redline.

Thank you for the gift of smell, which draws so much pleasure from the new leaves in spring as well as the burning of the old ones at the close of the season.
